It will take a view from the speaker’s experiences as Deputy Minister of Natural Resources in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It will also focus on current opportunities in relation to renewables in the North East of Scotland including transport.

Gordon is a graduate of Glasgow and Aberdeen Universities and started his career with KPMG as an Insolvency Manager. He moved to NESDA in 1984 and held various senior positions in Local Government until his retiral from Aberdeen City Council, as Director of Enterprise, Planning and Infrastructure, in 2016. He is currently director and Chairman of Aberdeen International Associates Ltd.
